Anyone! In fact, it's positively encouraged. The Parish Council can only act on the information it's given. One of the best ways to bring issues to our attention is by coming along.
Every meeting has an "open forum" at the beginning where the floor is open to attendees. Time can sometimes be restricted during open forum, but raising subjects allows us to put them on the formal agenda for the next month if necessary.
Yes. The Parish Council meetings are formal meetings held in accordance with government rules.
Once the Open Forum is concluded attendees can only speak if invited to by the Chair on a particular topic.
These may be members of the public with specific information about a topic on the agenda, updates from Buckinghamshire councillors, guests from services such as the Police etc.
As with any meeting, we ask that interruptions are kept to a minimum, phones are kept on silent and general chatter is conducted outside or after the meeting has concluded.
